What You’ll Do & What You’ll Gain
This role is more than editing. It’s a growth path toward strategy, ownership, and content performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit long-form YouTube videos, podcasts, interviews, and talking-head content.
- Improve audience retention through storytelling, pacing, hooks, transitions, and visual flow.
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and content leads to maintain consistency and quality.
- Align edits with content goals, brand direction, and client strategy.
- Contribute ideas to improve retention, CTR, watch time, and engagement.
- Support content strategy with thumbnails, titles, and content direction.
- Gradually take ownership of content workflows and guide junior editors.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of professional video editing experience.
- Strong portfolio in long-form YouTube content, podcasts, interviews, or talking-head videos.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, audience psychology, and retention.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
- Basic understanding of YouTube metrics and content performance is a plus.
